Disneyland & California adventure

Disneyland & California Adventure Parks in Anaheim, CA

Unlike it's sister park in Florida, Disneyland and California Adventure are very close to each other. They're connected by Downtown Disney and just a few short steps which allows guests to easily visit both parks on the same day if desired.

Airport Options

There are several airports that give guests access to Disneyland Resort. We we visited we flew into one and out of another because we were able to fly nonstop, and the flight times were better.

  • John Wayne Airport (SNA) 30 min
  • Long Beach Airport (LGB) 35 min
  • Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) 75 min
  • Ontario International Airport (ONT) 55 min
  • Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) 200 min
  • San Diego International Airport (SAN) 160 min

Onsite Resorts

There are two main theme parks Disneyland and California Adventure, which are connected to Downtown Disney, with restaurants & shopping.

Map

The closest resort to the parks is Disney's Grand Californian, it's located along the Downtown Disney strip, and offers some rooms overlooking Downtown Disney. They also offer a private entrance directly into California Adventure for guests staying at this property.

Disneyland Hotel offers a monorail from the resort to Downtown Disney.

Pixar Place Hotel is across the street from Disney's Grand Californian. It just completed a refurbishment in 2024 and offers an entry point to California Adventure for guests staying at this property.
